Sean sits on the Board of Directors of both The Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy and The Mental Health Network of the United Church of Christ. He earned a Master of Theological Studies at Drew University, a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from UMass Boston, and a Certificate in Youth and Theology from Princeton Seminary. He also attended the Berklee College of Music, beginning his professional life as a working musician, and continues to perform and teach.
Sean brings to Rebuilding a unique history of mentoring and organizational leadership in start-ups and turnarounds in both the New York City and Boston Metro areas. His approach draws on each individual's inherited spiritual tradition (or lack thereof) and incorporates evidence-based approaches to cultivate mindfulness and develop spiritual practices that enhance our innate capacity for grit, optimism, resilience, and healing.
