Rachel is a licensed clinician who has experience counseling adults with a diverse array of life-stage challenges in a group practice environment. These include relationship and parenting challenges, depression, anxiety, sexual assault and trauma, body image issues, and grief/loss – among others. She has special expertise and training working with women and young adults in therapy. Her approach is insight oriented, direct, and relational, grounded in a belief that we grow toward and through our connections with others and a powerful sense of self. She views her clients as partners and their work as a collaborative and evolving process as goals shift throughout therapy. Her goals are to help clients feel safe and validated while providing them with usable tools and resources. Prior to her work in the mental health field, she spent several years in the world of public health which informs her beliefs on overall wellness and the powerful connection between mind and body. Rachel holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, a Masters in Public Health (MPH) from The University of Michigan, and a Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Boston College. She looks forward to partnering with clients on their therapeutic journeys!
